Asustor As 602T

Re: Asustor As 602T
Re: Asustor As 602T

Re: Asustor As 602T
I try wav files last night . It is not supported when I let Pioneer N50 to play the wav from UPNPv2 ( It is DLNA server App).
The wav file is 141K/16bit. .
If they wants to play , some other DLNA app can support transcoding - transcode wav to mp3 on the fly . Pioneer N50 will play them without problem.
Pioneer can play wav, but it can not stream the wav via the DLNA server
The Pioneer N-50 plays fine with wav files.
If those wav are ripped from regular CD in 44,1/16 (44.1K/16bit)
However if the WAV are higher resolutions, it will not be able to play by Pioneer. Maybe he is trying to play it with high resolution of WAV file
( 44,1/16, try some 96/24 and then 192/24. etc)
Because - The Pioneer cannot play 176,4/24 files, due to limitations in the built-in DAC chip.
