Visto i bench dalla versione scritta che vi ho mandato prima

Per il momento la mia analisi è che

1) i driver sono acerbi
2) hanno bisogno delle DX12 (ma ben scritte) e dell'Asynch Compute per dare il massimo:

Se no escono situazioni simile a quelle su Wildlands Invece guardate Sniper Elite 4 quanto gira bene.

Purely observationally, based on the data we have presently collected, it would appear that the Titan V has two primary behaviors: (1) Applications which are built atop low-level APIs and asynchronous computational pipelines appear to process more efficiently on the Titan V; (2) the Titan V appears to host more cores than some of these applications (namely D3D11 titles) can meaningfully use, and that is demonstrated fully upon overclocking.

Given that overclocks in D3D11 applications produce performance uplift of ~20% (in some instances), it would appear that the high core count becomes more of a burden than a benefit. The GPU needs the faster clocks, and can’t access or leverage its high core count in a meaningful way. The result is that the Titan V begins to tie with the Titan Xp, and that the 1080 Ti closes-in on the Titan V. In lower-level API games, however, the Titan V pulls away by large margins – 27% to 40%, in some cases. The gains are big enough that we retested numerous times on numerous cards, but they remained. Our present analysis is that these applications are better able to spin-off multiple, simultaneous, in-flight render jobs across the high core count, whereas the tested Dx11 titles may function more synchronously.

insomma comincio a pensare che abbia senso che Volta uscirà in concomitanza con Far Cry 5: si presume sarà in DX12/ Vulkan. che lo useranno come vetrina per le nuove nvidia?

No il contraio! Sono felicissimo invece : questa non è una scheda dedicata al Gaming; il V100 non è nato dal principio per fare questo ma tutt'altro...mentre il suo derivato lo sarà ed io tirero' le mie conclusioni quando il prossimo anno vedremo arrivare il chippone derivato x Gaming sotto brand Titan X per tutto il 2018 : un chippone , con tutti quei cudacore (magari pure completi questa volta), con tutta la parte prettamente Pro tagliata, con freq. di clock intorno ai 1800Mhz stock, con supporto SLI e con 16 Giga GDDR6 ...altro che 27% di media poi.
Io sono praticamente certo che NVIDIA ha già il sample nei suoi laboratori bello e finito come d'altronde i chippini che esordiranno tra pochissimi mesi.
Podarsi pure che stia dicendo un mare di baggianate e in tal caso resto e mi trovate qui per lapidarmi...

Non resto che attendere pazientemente nel fratttempo sto un po' giocando con la ti e devo dire che è una bestia. Lunedì mi arriva anche il monitor l'Acer come mi hai consigliato in mp la settimana scorsa così l'upgrade è pressochè definitivo
Come overclock niente da dire attualmente sono a +150 sul core e 400 sulle ram dopo cena faccio altre prove per trovare un daily use definitivo

ripeto come comunque non sia una scheda dedicata al Gaming : durante quei test, quasi la metà del GV100 non è in funzione....
