Integrated Graphics vs. Entry-Level GPUs: Is the gap finally closing in 2026?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been monitoring the benchmark rankings on HW Legend recently, and I’ve noticed some interesting shifts in how integrated VGA solutions are performing compared to older entry-level dedicated cards.

With the latest architecture updates, it seems like integrated graphics are no longer just for basic office work or web browsing. I’m curious to get the community's take on a few things:

Driver Stability: Has anyone noticed a significant improvement in driver support for integrated VGA when running modern titles? I often worry about "drivers or settings bias" when looking at raw benchmarks.

Thermal Management: In compact builds, does the heat shared between the CPU and the integrated GPU still cause significant throttling compared to having a separate dedicated card?

Real-world Accuracy: Is there a reliable way you all use to verify if the benchmark rankings we see here truly reflect day-to-day gaming or editing performance?

I'd love to hear your experiences or if you have any recent benchmark data to share. Thanks!
