Il nas è collegato in rete, nella "Facilità di accesso" risulta connesso corettamente al Cloud, Ez router e DDns. Ma Xbmc non riesco ad utilizzarlo per aggiornare i componenti (addons), le informazioni libreria. Viene fuori questa scritta: "Impossibile collegarsi al server remoto. Si desidera continuare la scansione?" Cosa fare? Provate a darmi qualche idea!

Per gli utenti normali Asustor dovrebbe fare una guida semplice e chiara su tutti questi aspetti ed anche per implementare addons alternativi, se fosse possibile.. per non lasciare questi dispositivi senza ragione.. questa sarrebbe una vera scusa per gli inconvenienti creati ai clienti.

Ciao, ecco la risposta ufficiale da parte di Asustor. In sostanza è quello che pensavamo noi, ma che volevamo avere conferma ufficiale:

For AS2/3 (Intel CE53xx CPU) and AS6 (Intel Cedar View), the XBMC is provided by Intel and it is defined by Intel to support only up to XBMC 12.3. And as it is a special package from Intel so it is a simplified version but sufficient for playing 1080P video.

We hope very much that we can also update the XBMC for AS2, 3, 6 series to Kodi also... But the fact is that the Intel CPU capability and driver of AS2, 3, 6 is not enough for the upgrade, nor Intel has the support for it. It is very similar to one computer graphic card which if I want to play heavy 3D games, I need to get a new nVidia graphic card.

If we can do the upgrade, we would have done it at the same time as AS31, AS5, AS61/62, AS7 series because we have the same software of Kodi but just can not do it with the hardware limitation.

XBMC is an open source which is decided by XBMC/Kodi organization for their service continuance. I know that they have stopped the service support for XBMC so you can not have all the addon functions but to play the movie, video, it is still quite OK.
