becouse IMHO in this model XSPC has chosen to enphasize design and good looking instead of construction technology of coldplate or waterblock structure as the use of other materials to improve performances...
by the way, mainly, I don't like the design of that waterblock

Disegno interessante per lo Swiftech HD... mi chiedo come mai abbiano fatto un design con 4 fori per raccordi, e solo uno di questi è per l'entrata del liquido.

Before commenting on the performances, let's wait for a comparison between this Raystorm and the other waterblocks. Maybe it beats them all...

Prima di commentare sulle performance del Raystorm, aspettiamo di vedere come se la cava in una comparativa contro gli altri WB in circolazione sul mercato. Forse li batte tutti a mani basse...

OK, did a little bit of research, and apparently the idea behind it is to use the same waterblock as a flute, parallelizing the flow when in use with a multi-waterblock system.

Actually the idea should not be bad, increasing the flow rate per component, thus maximizing each component's performace. Gotta try it...

Fatto un po' di ricerca, e apparentemente questo tipo di soluzione può permettere l'utilizzo di più waterblock in parallelo/serie, aggangiando ogni altro WB direttamente al WB cpu, e quindi utilizzandolo come un vero e proprio flauto distributore. Interessante. Interessante anche il fatto che in questo modo, si dovrebbe mantenere una portata per componente ottimale, e cmq non troppo castrata come in un circuito in serie standard. Da provare, insomma....
